might be going down awhile
cablelynx is being stupid and wont let me continue using their services, due to some problem we're being blamed for. i dont care, i'm just switching service providers now. no reason to worry, i'll be switched soon.

SquareSoft... has become the MAN?
Square, Square, Square...
the name brings back memories.
thousands of hours logged in games starting with final, and saga, so many, many good games...
what has become of you?
some would wonder what i mean.. considering your fantastic success.
but consider this:
squaresoft has bought out more game companies than 98% of most gaming companies.
its like...... its like.. square has become... EA.
when you start buying properties to 'diverisfy your portfolio, you become the thing that we hated from the get go about some of the bigger companies: the loss of the individual.
this is why your greatest minds left you, and why you must get new talent.
what happened to Sakaguchi, Toriyama?
they left..... why?
to make BLUE DRAGON? PLEASE. its so much more than that.
You haven't made a good rpg since final fantasy 8. and i LOVED FFX, loved FFXII, and absolutely HATED 11. but through all of that i stood with you; cheered you on, and gave you my support. MY HARD EARNED MONEY.
i eschew game 'institutions' such at Electronic Arts, UBISOFT, and other companies that have perverted the very reason we play games: to have fun.
now its all about hype... and protection of profit.
what you have become, i will not endure. i shall not buy any more of your games, just like i have banned EA from my library of games. now i must cleanse my collection of games from your trash.
understand this:
GAMING ISN'T JUST ABOUT MAKING MONEY: its primary focus is fun, interaction within an environment you wish to interact with.
by buying out crystal dynamic, you destroyed my faith in you.. and it wasn't the first time either.
taking chances USED to be your M.O., didnt' it? now what do you do? only bank on hits that are proven.. wheres the fun in that?
i long for the days of gaming when you didn't have a name, and had to WORK to get noticed.
now all we get is final this or kingdom that. its ok, but what i really, really hate about you now has nothing to do with final this or kingdom that.
its the lack of support to the little guy. its exactly why your biggest names left. no artistic freedom, nothing thats unproven, that isn't 'wanted' or there isn't a 'market' for....
deal with it. i'm gone, not that you'll care of corse, you got the support of the halo players now; the lara croft fanboys; you dont NEED US anymore, DO YOU?
well fine by me, those of us who have a brain will be playing games like minecraft.
you'll go the way of the dodo, along with EA. or we're all doomed.
see ya square. not that you'll miss me. you never cared about us anyway.
